My Dear Young Lasallians,

I am sending you here a few simple words of welcome to the VEGA formation program.
Please know that I wish you every success in this initiative with all my heart and I hope that your
efforts in this area of Lasallian leadership formation may help many young people to be more interested in our educational mission.
May all of your actions serve to create a better understanding of St. John Baptist de La Salle and of that gift of the Spirit that inspired him, along with a group of his Brothers, to create a great human and Christian educational movement for so many poor children and young people of his day.
Today, that same Spirit continues all over the world through the lives of the Brothers, lay teachers and also through the contribution of so many Young Lasallians. May all the latest means of electronic communication facilitate the development of this so very important task.
